Tristan Millsaps

Tristan Millsaps supports our public sector relations work across NC through the MDC Rural Forward program.

Tristan is a proud first-generation college student and current Master of Public Policy Candidate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He completed his undergraduate degree in Public Policy at UNC in 2023 where he graduated with Phi Beta Kappa honors.

Tristan finds his time at UNC to be extremely rewarding and feels grateful to be able to apply the opportunities to learn about public policy from the university’s great faculty to his work at MDC.

Apart from school, Tristan loves trying new restaurants, cheering for all North Carolina sports teams, and playing basketball with friends.

He joined MDC in May 2023.
