McKay Chamberlain

McKay Chamberlain (they/them) joined the Race Matters Institute team in 2021. Based in North Carolina, they advise organizations and national policy networks on centering equity and inclusion in their organizational practices as they work to strengthen their commitment to racial justice. Previously McKay served as the President and CEO of Kansas Action for Children (KAC) and was appointed to the Kansas Children’s Cabinet and the Governor’s Education Council. They earned a BSW from the University of Kansas and an AM from the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration.
