Kamilah A. Pickett  (she/her) has been a trainer with the Race Matters Institute since 2016. Her interests include the intersections of health, race, and justice – she has worked as a federal and state policy advocate with Medicare/Medicaid beneficiaries, children and youth with special healthcare needs, and Black and Muslim communities. She specializes in helping community-led efforts and organizations operationalize racial equity and transformative justice goals. Kamilah holds a dual BA in African American Studies and Psychology from GSU, an MPH from Morehouse School of Medicine, and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center. She is based in the Atlanta area.
