Jason Marshall

Jason Marshall (he, him, his) is an education designer and teacher-learner with extensive experience in a myriad of educational settings including charter and public schools, community-based organizations, national and international non-profits, and mental health organizations. Bringing with him over 20 years of experience as an educator Jason has worked at the intersections of content and curriculum development, anti-oppression facilitation, and designing accessible learning spaces for both young people and adult learners. He is the Co-Founder of Jackson & Marshall Consulting Group LLC (JMC), an anti-oppression and educational equity consulting firm that is purposed to guide communities and organizations in bringing ideas of positive systemic change to fruition. Some of his strengths include fostering critical examinations of power, systems of oppression, institutional culture, purposeful communication, and intelligible action plans for creating environments grounded in principles of equity and justice. He currently continues to evolve his practice as a teacher-learner by designing and facilitating professional learnings and trainings for K-12 schools, PSE institutions and various organizations-with content largely focused on Anti-Oppression, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Learning Differences and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Jason holds a Master of Science in Student Development in Higher Education from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Development from the University of Minnesota.
