Brianna Ramgeet

Brianna was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica and raised in Atlanta, GA. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Public Policy, concentrating in Health Policy. She primarily studied inequitable access to healthcare, reproductive justice, and the best solutions to maternal health disparities. During her time at UNC, she served as a policy intern with the Iowa Public Health Association through the AmeriCorps VISTA program. She also served as a Program Coordinator with the Carolina Center for Public Service, where she coordinated internships for UNC students. Brianna is now a student in the Master of Public Health program at Florida State University.

Outside of public service, Brianna loves to read, shop, and spends the early morning hours in the gym!
