Our New Home on the Web
Welcome to MDC’s new website. We’ve tried to capture in a readable and attractive way how MDC works, the values that guide us, and a sense of the long history that has never wavered in our dedication to removing the barriers that separate people from opportunity.
We also hope to capture something we never forget—the people and communities whose lives are changed when those barriers are removed.
So please take a few minutes to look around. The “Our Approach” section looks at our comprehensive way of helping people learn, earn, and save their way into the middle class. “Our Projects” captures the work we’re doing now, and the work we’ve done going back to our founding in 1967. The “Resources” section features our State of the South series in addition to access to our library of publications, a list of experts available for conversation, and a press room of past interviews and offerings of our staff. Under “About Us,” get a sense of our long history, who’s on our staff and board, and of the foundations and governmental entities that trust us to work with them.
Spread throughout it all are videos of our work, samples of our research, and stories of some of the people we’ve helped.
And soon in this space you'll be seeing the MDC blog. So stay tuned!
