MDC is now accepting applications to fill 14 AmeriCorps member positions with its new NC VetsCorps project. NC VetsCorps is an AmeriCorps program that aims to assist veterans and military families with the transition from military service to civilian life. NC VetsCorps will position AmeriCorps members in North Carolina, hosted by community-based organizations to support outreach to veterans and military families. The project seeks to increase the economic and food security of veterans and their families, increase the capacities of host organizations to serve veterans and their families, and to support veterans in their pursuit of education and training. Available positions are for 14 full-time (40 hours/week) AmeriCorps members.
